A small group of letters and diaries, 1909-1910 and 1913, kept by Frederick Leiser while a representative of the Young Men's Christian Association in Canton, China, from 1905 to 1914; and his reminiscences of experiences in Canton and Hong Kong, of his associations with the Y.M.C.A. at the University of Wisconsin, and of his service as federal director of rent control in Dane, Sauk, and Columbia counties, Wis., in 1942-1943.
